Orcas/Friday Harbor/Lopez and Portland Oregon/Vancouver/Seattle/Port Angeles/Victoria BC

The San Juan Islands do not have passenger train service. Anyone wishing to travel to or from Eugene, Salem, Portland, Seattle, Port Angeles, or Vancouver by train must travel part-way by connecting road service and ferry. The cost of the connecting road and ferry services is included in the fare.  Ferry services operate all year to Orcas, Lopez, Shaw, and Friday Harbor. 

Ferry schedules change about every three months and are made available about one month before going into effect.  Trains offer both coach and Business Class seating, as well as food service.  Ferries offer food service in the summer.

Fares shown are one-way and are the lowest adult fare per person possible for each schedule.  Friend Fares require two people to travel together.  Fares are higher for popular departures and for bookings made fewer than 5 days prior to the date of departure
